Hand made dish with commemerative inscription

The one-off pots which Peter Lascelles makes and fires in his work-shop can be purchased by visiting the Pennine Pottery shop next to the pottery. There is also a laid -out woodland walk up the track and a picnic area. The show-rooms display the functional stoneware pottery which Peter makes on the wheel and decorates by hand, using images of local plants and animals which he draws from the life. About 1/3 of what Peter makes over the year are special orders – for instance on the order book at present are one egg-cup decorated with a swaledale sheep, two commemorative dishes, dinner service with ashleaf motif.
