BIRD PLATES AND MUGS Our bird plates are hand-crafted by the traditional manufacturing technique of ‘Jigger and Jolly’. They are 26cms. in diameter. Plates are individually decorated with designs of moorland and aquatic birds developed by Peter Lascelles. The images on the set of six plates are derived from studies on the live originals in the wild. The pleasing cream background glaze is safe in dishwasher and microwave. Customers can order the plates by telephone, post or by visiting the Pennine Pottery shop. In addition to the plates we now offer six matching 3/4 pint mugs.
